Vanía Nzeyimana studied law, political science and modern history at the universities of Zurich and Fribourg. She then worked for the FDFA at the Swiss representation in Guatemala in the human rights field. Afterwards, she worked for the SEM in the asylum procedure. She has in-depth knowledge of the international refugee sector and Swiss asylum law. Her aim is to ensure that complex migration policy issues can increasingly be discussed in a scientific context. With her experience in both foreign and domestic policy, she is now supporting migration as co-programme manager.
