Pascal studied International Relations, Postcolonial Studies and Gender Studies at the University of Geneva, Galatasaray University in Istanbul and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. He has spent the last five years in London as a researcher and evaluator in public policy and is now working in a think tank for strong and impact-orientated development cooperation. Pascal is co-founder and was for several years honorary chairman of Agora, a grassroots think tank for British foreign policy. Like foraus, Agora is part of the Open Think Tank Network. He was previously involved in an NGO that strengthens the media in crisis areas and a legal advice centre for asylum and immigration law.
