Due to the many trips with her family, Delia developed an interest in other countries and societies very early on. Her exchange year in New Zealand in particular was the deciding factor for her subsequent studies in ethnology (Bachelor and Master) at the University of Zurich. At the same time, however, the year abroad on her own made her reflect on her origins and on Switzerland as part of a globalised world. Delia became interested in international relations and foreign policy and, after she was unable to take up her internship abroad in summer 2020 due to the pandemic, is currently studying World Society and World Politics in the second semester at the University of Lucerne.
