Darius Farman reveres exploration. He is fascinated by the diverse mix of similarities and also cultural differences he found in Lausanne – where he grew up – and in Brighton, Vienna, Ljubljana, Zurich, Bruges and Brussels – where he lived. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva and two Master degrees in political and economic sciences from ETH Zurich and the College of Europe in Bruges. He is active as a senior researcher in the liberal think tank Avenir Suisse and is also involved in the Swiss Academies of Sciences. His current research, at the intersection of politics, economics and law, focuses on European politics and the challenges of digitalisation from a multidisciplinary perspective.
