Christian Michel is Consultant for Southeast Asia at Switzerland Global Enterprise, the official Swiss export and investment promotion agency. Previously, he was Manager for International Institutions, supporting Swiss companies work with multilateral development banks. He founded and was head of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Mexico. At the Wilson Center think tank in Washington, D.C., he worked on economic issues between Mexico and the USA. He worked as a consultant for the World Bank in the area of governance, at Swissnex Brazil in the area of science diplomacy and as an intern at the Swiss Embassy in Brazil. Christian holds a Master’s degree in Foreign Service and International Development from Georgetown University as a Swiss Fulbright Fellow, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva.
