Policy Fellow: International Law

Lukas is co-head of the International Law Programme. He is pursuing his PhD on due diligence obligations in International Law at the Graduate Institute in Geneva and works as an assistant at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked as an associate in the ICRC’s legal division and for the Permanent Mission to the Conference on Disarmament. Lukas holds a master’s degree in international law from the Graduate Institute and a bachelor’s degree in political science and law from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. His main research interests include International Law, the law of State responsibility, as well as the international mechanisms for disarmament, arms-control, and non-proliferation.
