Céline Hirschi

Co-Head Fribourg

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Geneva (UNIGE), Céline has a keen interest in Swiss party and institutional politics, with a particular focus on the functioning of institutions, electoral processes and public policy.

Regarding international issues, she is interested in the rights of politically oppressed minorities in regions such as Catalonia, Kurdistan and Afghanistan. Her bachelor’s thesis, titled « Switzerland’s foreign policy towards China examined through the lens of liberalism and realism. Analysis of discourse and votes in the Swiss Parliament », illustrates her desire to understand how Switzerland articulates its values and interests in its foreign policy.

Driven by a strong interest in ecology and sustainable development, Céline has been an intern at the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (FBL) since March 2025, where she contributes to sustainable construction projects.
