After earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Geneva, Anja is pursuing a master’s degree in the same discipline, with a focus on international and comparative politics. During her bachelor’s degree, she developed a particular interest in political theories and conducted research on intergenerational justice, which led her to develop an interest in environmental issues and the place of future generations in political debates. During her master’s degree, she broadened her knowledge of international cooperation and development policies in Africa and focused on the link between climate change, peace, and security, with a particular interest in climate migration.

Anja was the Innovation and Communications intern from August 2025 to February 2026.
