Sophie has been supporting the foraus communications team as an intern since August 2025. After completing her bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Zurich, she is now studying international law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Her academic interests lie primarily in international law and international politics. Through her interdisciplinary studies, she has also explored various topics at the intersection of politics, law and economics.
During her master’s studies, Sophie worked as a research assistant at the Chair of International Law at HSG, where she focused intensively on the historical development and theoretical foundations of international law. A course in Beirut on migration policy deepened her interest in the Middle East and humanitarian aid issues. In her master’s thesis, she is currently analysing the role of international NGOs in the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.
